A methodology for videogame development
Abstract
This paper proposes a methodology for videogame development derived from teaching and production experience. It treats videogame creation as software development with unusually strong technical, creative, and interdisciplinary dependencies, and organises the process into stages that support requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and iterative refinement while accounting for gameplay and audiovisual production.
