Brain Portraits

Electroencephalography (EEG) is an electrophysiological monitoring method to record electrical activity of the brain. It measures voltage fluctuations resulting from ionic current within the neurons.

Using a commercially available, low fidelity, EEG sensor -Muse- I captured the electrical activity of my brain while performing different tasks. The resulting video, Brain Portraits, showcases several of these dynamic, abstract, snapshots of my brain working.

Programmed with Processing.
